Total Shock

"Stephen Gately dies at 33"

I have only just found out and I am still in shock.
Its something I cant get my head around. Stephen & the other boyzone lads played a huge part in my life, as they were the firts ever band I went to see and actually meet.

I feel honoured to have met Stephen so many times, and each time that I met him, he was so nice & kind. A truly wonderfull person.

I send all my love & thoughts out to his & Andy's family, in this sad time of loss. And also to the other lads in boyzone. My thoughts are with all of you.

Stephen, thanks for being such a great person. Its sad to think you had to go to that better place so soon. Rest in peace.

Things in life ....

Sometimes you get a reality check in life.
Right now I dont get it why people worry about stupid little things. I mean so what if I am overweight. So what if you couldn't get that special pair of slippers you wanted. Life goes on.

Make the best of what you got right now. If you dont like the way you are living, then change it.
Do the things you like the most. The things that make you smile. The things that make you happy.
And forget about all the things that bring you down and make you sad.
Live each day to the fullest and dont push back the things you want to do in life.

Sometimes happened recently and I am not going into details. But its not good.
Something that really changed my way of thinking.

Amazing

This weekend I went to see a brilliant person on stage. None other then the one and only...
TINA TURNER
And yes she was amazing.

I have not been to such a great show in ages and I put my hands down to her. She rocks that stage. I dont really have the words to explain the show to you...it was one of those moments, where one word could say it all...WOW

I did manage to get the setlist. So here is what she did:

I also tried to take some photos, but it was not easy from the point where I was standing, due to the lights. But I did manage a few good one.

First Blog / Eerst Blog

Eindelijk is die er dan, mijn blog. Het heeft even geduurt, maar vanaf nu zal ik jullie allemaal op de hoogte houden. Mijn blog zal niet alleen gaan over wat ik mee maak, maar natuurlijk ook om mijn laatste creative creaties te laten zien.

Ik ben al een tijdje bezig met kaarten maken, en die verkoop ik ook. De helft van mijn opbrengst gaat altijd naar een goed doel. Dus als je kaarten wilt kopen, ga dan even kijken op http://www.slk-graphics.com/.

De nieuwste kaarten die ik aan het maken ben zijn piramide kaarten, ik heb een voorbeeld onderaan deze blog gezet. Natuurlijk zit ik nog in de begin fase van het maken van deze kaarten, maar goed het zal vanaf nu dus beter worden.

Nu even wat anders. Als je naar de bioscoop gaat, moet je zeker naar "The Curious Case Of Benjamin Button" gaan. Deze film is echt aan te raden. Ik ben er vanmorgen heen geweest en heb genoten. De afgelopen maanden heb ik eigenlijk alleen maar films gezien, waarvan je na 5 minuten al kon zeggen hoe het zou aflopen. Maar niet deze, dus als je naar de film gaat, ga zeker naar deze.

Oja nog 1 dingetje voordat ik afsluit. Ik moet eerlijk toegeven dat ik het leuk vind om te horen wat jullie van mijn creaties vinden, of gewoon een berichtje achter laten. Het is altijd leuk om iets te horen van anderen.

Finally its here. My Blog. Its took a while, but from now on I will keep you posted. My blog will not only be about what goes on in my daily life, but also to show you all my latest creative creations.

The newest cards I am making are piramide cards, I have added an example at the bottem of this blog. Ofcourse I am still a newcomer when it comes down to this, but I will get loads better in the future.

Now onto other things. If there is one movie you should go and see right now, it has to be "The Curious Case Of Benjamin Button". I went to see the movie this morning and I really enjoyed it. It keeps you facinated along the way. A lot of other movies over the past few months have been really predictable, but not this one. So if you can. Go out and see it.

One last thing. I always appreciate a message about my work, telling me what you think of it. And also a hello once in a while would be nice, I love receiving messages.
